Mr. Matt Forrest - K-8 Physical Education

Physical Education classes are designed for students to practice and develop skills in activities that will help students maintain fitness throughout their life. Students will understand the benefits that regular exercise can provide for a person’s mental, physical, and social health. There will be an emphasis on student learning, personal success, fair play, and personal health.

Classroom Notes

During physical education, students will be active (i.e. moving around, elevating their heart rates and participating in tons of fitness activities, warm-ups, games, individual and group challenges. My goal is to keep kids moving and having a ton of fun. 5th Grade- 8th Grade students will also participate in skill development and all major sports, including soccer, basketball, baseball, flag football and my favorite basketball!
