Welcome to Spanish Class! I am super excited to introduce your child to the language of Spanish and its culture throughout the school year!

My name is Ileana Nelson and I was born in Cuba. I was raised in New Jersey and have been in Las Vegas for 22 years. I am the proud mother of two sons who are my pride and joy! I studied at Rider University and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree and in 2014 graduated from the University of Phoenix with an MBA. I have been a teacher at private schools for 15 years and I am very proud of being a part of Southern Highlands Preparatory School educators.
