My name is April Coulter and I am honored to be a 6-8th grade math and science teacher here at Southern Highlands Preparatory School. Every year I look forward to a wonderful year full of excitement and learning. I truly believe that each student is a unique individual, with special gifts and talents. It is my goal to create the best learning environment possible, whether in a classroom or at home, and encourage those gifts and talents to grow and be used to gain knowledge for the future.
I began teaching in 2002 after earning my Bachelor’s Degree from the University of California, San Diego. I later earned my Masters of Education from Grand Canyon University. Teaching is my passion and I am so thankful to be a part of the family here at SHPS. This is truly a one in a million school and I am very grateful to share this experience with a unified community made up of extraordinary students, supporting and loving families, and a devoted faculty.
