A Whole-Child Approach

We believe education extends far beyond textbooks. Field trips allow students to connect classroom learning with real-world experiences. Past destinations have included Red Rock Canyon, the CSN Planetarium, Valley of Fire, Nevada State Museum, Spring Mountain Ranch, Lion Habitat, Arcadia Earth, and Lake Mead.

After-School Opportunities

Our after-school program runs from 3:30–5:30 p.m. and offers activities such as sports, dance club, choir, visual arts, and more. We understand life can be busy, and we’re here to accommodate your family’s schedule.

We look forward to partnering with you this year—supporting your child’s growth, learning, and leadership.

Griffins lead with heart!

Warmly,

Kacey Chong

What are the benefits of private school?

A Southern Highlands Prep education is designed to develop students who are academically accomplished, personally grounded, and genuinely prepared for what comes next. Our Griffin Gold program brings a new character trait to life each month, because we believe who a child becomes is as important as what they learn. Every grade participates in at least one field trip per quarter, from a 1st grade pumpkin orchard visit to a three-day leadership experience in middle school, because learning that extends beyond the classroom is learning that lasts. Our campus features a regulation gymnasium, a performance stage, and outdoor fields where students move, create, and discover what they love. This is a school students are excited to come to every day. Learn more about what sets us apart at Southern Highlands Prep.
